The 1929 UCLA Bruins football team was an American football team that represented the University of California, Los Angeles during the 1929 college football season. In their fifth year under head coach William H. Spaulding, the Bruins compiled a 4-4 record (1-3 conference) and finished in sixth place in their second year in the Pacific Coast Conference (PCC), although the season was notable for the inauguration of the rivalry with cross-town USC.[1]
