The 1986 Skate America was the Skate America competition of the 1986–87 figure skating season. The event was organized by the United States Figure Skating Association. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
The competition was held in Portland, Maine.
