The 2001 Green Bay Packers season was the franchise's 82nd season in the National Football League and the 83rd overall.
The Packers returned to the postseason after two years of missing the playoffs of the 1999 and 2000 season consecutively.
They finished with a 12–4 record. After easily defeating the San Francisco 49ers in the Wildcard round, Green Bay's season ended with a loss to the 14–2 St. Louis Rams in the NFC divisional playoff game, where Packers quarterback Brett Favre threw a career high 6 interceptions.[1]
