3: Alif Lam Mim is an 2015 Indonesian action-thriller film was directed by Anggy Umbara on October 1. The film had its watch together in a mosque in Frankfurt, Germany.[1] The film had nominated for Best Feature Film at the 2015 Maya Awards.
Plot
Three school friends learn martial arts at a young age to fight for their country, but take different paths in life as they get older and must make difficult choices, balancing friendship, loyalty and honor. This futuristic action film takes place in the year 2034 when Indonesia has become a peaceful country after a civil war. The country is more liberal and prosperous, and violence is forbidden. Human rights have become the main principle of the country, yet numerous radical groups try to change the face of democracy. After a bomb blast in a cafe, the three old friends are forced into conflict.
