The journal publishes original research on heterogeneous, homogeneous, and biocatalysis. [1] The editor-in-chief is Christopher W. Jones (School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Georgia Institute of Technology).
Types of content
ACS Catalysis publishes Letters, Articles, Reviews, and Perspectives and Viewpoints. Reviews, Perspectives and Viewpoints appear mostly on invitation.[2]
Scope
ACS Catalysis covers experimental and theoretical research and reviews on molecules, macromolecules, or materials that are catalytic in nature, that is, they exhibit catalytic turnover. Application coverage includes life sciences, drug discovery & development, household products, polymer discovery & production, environmental protection and energy & fuels.[1]
Abstracting and indexing
The journal is abstracted and indexed in Chemical Abstracts Service[3] and the ISI Web of Knowledge.[1]
