Youth system
The youth system has been responsible for producing some of Milan's greatest ever players, including the club's top three all-time appearance makers, Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi and Alessandro Costacurta, as well as several players, in recent years, who have managed to become regular players in the Serie A. The training facilities are based at the Vismara Sports Centre (Italian: Centro Sportivo Vismara), a 57-acre (230,000 m2) site in the Milan southern suburb of Gratosoglio (though the Primavera trains at Milanello, just like the first team).[12]
