Abgar VII
Abgar VI bar Ma'nu was a King of Osroene who reigned from 109 to 116. He joined Trajan's campaign into Mesopotamia entertaining him at court. He later revolted against the Romans which resulted in destroying the city and his death in 116.[1] The Romans installed the Parthian Parthamaspates as a ruler of Edessa. The Abgarid dynasty was however restored with the establishment of Ma'nu VII who remained loyal to the Romans.[1]
