Adolf of Limburg

Adolf of Limburg, count of Limburg (died 1506), son of Wilhelm I of Limburg, count of Limburg.

He married in 1487 Elisabeth von Reichenstein (d. 1529) and they had issue:

• Wilhelm II of Limburg, count of Limburg (died before 1522);
• Georg of Limburg, count of Limburg (died 1552);
• Anna, Abbess of Herford Abbey and Gerresheim Abbey (died 1585);
• Elisabeth, married Dirk von Bronckhorst (died 1551);
• Veronika, a nun at Elten (died 1528);
• Agnes, Abbess of Freckenhorst and Metelen (died 1570);
• Katharina, Abbess of Borghorst (died 1572).
