Africatown is a district inside the Central District of the U.S. city of Seattle, Washington. Seattle and its surrounding areas are known for having approximately 203,121 African Americans and 92,000 immigrant Africans[1] The area is centrally located around the Umoja Peace Center around 24th Avenue and Cherry Street.[2]
