This is an album originally released in 1992 by Ripcordz, a Canadian punk band from Montreal, Quebec.

The album was recorded over a weekend by Rob Rapley at his 8-track studio in Montreal's Mile-End district. The band used a drum kit that was set up in the studio, did a quick amp set-up and just ran through about 30 songs. Vocals were done the same way, with the tape rolling. Backing vocals and the mix were done on the Sunday. The best tunes were chosen for the album, while a few like "New Song" ended up on compilations. The band has always referred to it as one of their best studio experiences ever, and certainly the best $212 it ever spent on recording.

The album was released only about six months after their second full-length album, "Kidnoise." The band's sound had been evolving from the surf-Punk of the first album ("Ripcordz Are Go") through the more metal-tinged "Kidnoise" to the more straight-ahead Street Punk on "Ain't No H." Paul rushed it through production, and only informed the rest of the band that there was a new CD coming out a couple of days before the CDs were delivered.

The album title was dedicated to local weekly "The Montreal Mirror" which had written about the band dozens of times and included it in its listings dozens more, but always misspelled their name, calling them the Ripchordz. The cassette continued the joke, actually spelling it Ripchordz on the cassettes themselves.

The album was remastered and rereleased as part of a double CD set on Mayday Records in 2006. It was combined with the band's next release, "Canadian as Fuck" under the title "Double Your Punk, Double Your Fun." The set included several bonus tracks from the original recording, including "New Song."
