Chui Chung-San (often known as Shu Zhong Xin or Alan Hsu) born on 16 August 1952[1] is a Hong Kong British actor, director and stuntman. He has been known with being highly solid action director and stuntman. Alan is well known for the movies such as The Rebellious Reign, Kung Fu Vs. Yoga, Two Fists Against the Law and 7 Grandmasters.
Beginning of career
Beginning of 1970, he became a stuntman for the companies such as Golden Harvest and Shaw Brothers studios. As well being on screen stuntman, he also worked on various TVB productions of martial art and Chinese historical drama. He would appear as an extra role in the likes of movies such as Hapkido, Enter the Dragon, Bruce Lee and I and plenty more. Alongside with Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan, Ching Siu-tung and others, Alan worked on various extra role or minor roles throughout the 1970s.
Action director and breaking role
Later around 1979 and 1980, Alan became knowable with his breaking roles such as 7 Grandmasters and Two Fists Against the Law, as well as being an action director for the first time in the movies such as Shaolin Ex Monk in 1978.[2] He would also direct the movies such as Tough Beauty and the Sloppy Slop (1995) starring Yuen Biao. Throughout his career he made over 130 films including with various stunt work and acting role (usually appear as a villain or old master role).
Present time
After working on various movies, television shows and action director, Alan began to work as a movie producer as well as working on the martial art movie campaign in 2015.[3]
In recent years, Alan also made the Cantonese dubbed version of Finding Dory as a role of Fluke the Sea lion.
