Andrew Garcia Ruiz (born November 25, 1993 in Oxnard, California) is an undefeated Mexican American professional boxer in the Lightweight division.[1] Ruíz is trained by former IBF Super Featherweight Champion Roberto Garcia.[2]
Amateur career
During his amateur career Andrew was a two-time Desert Showdown World Amateur Boxing Champion.[3] He's also the nephew of undefeated prospect Erik Ruiz.[4]
Professional career
In January 2011, Ruíz won his professional debut against veteran Freddie Cisneros at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills, California.[5]
