Anita Pierce is a fictional character in the long-running S4C soap Pobol y Cwm played by Nia Caron.[1]

Anita Pierce has been described as a woman with firm opinions, who is shown to know what is best for her nearest and dearest, as well as anyone else who has problems. Anita ran the local pub in Cwmderi, Y Deri, along with her now ex-husband Meic after rekindling their feelings for each other after many years apart. The couple retired in 2011, and Y Deri is now owned and run by Ed Charles. Meic and Anita have since split up, however they still live together and still get along well.
Family
Anita is the ex-wife of Meic Pierce, and former stepmother to his son, Kevin Powell. Kevin is the son of Meic and Nansi Furlong who they gave up for adoption whilst married, however Kevin eventually found his family and got to know his father and mother. Due to several sexual assault allegations, Meic and Kevin are now estranged.
