Anna Pobokova (born 17 October 1987 in Bergen op Zoom) is a retired Dutch individual rhythmic gymnast and national champion. She represented the Netherlands in international competition. At the 2004 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships she performed with Lisa Vos, finishing 22nd with 140.075 points.[1][2]
After 2004, due to a serious back injury, she was not able to compete at the European Championships.[3] The injury kept her sidelined for almost two years. In 2007 she was ready to return to international competition, but on 9 January 2007 she was injured in a traffic accident in her hometown of Bergen op Zoom. She was hit by a car and sustained a severe concussion and a broken eyesocket.[4]
In 2008 she finished second at the national championships behind Lisa Vos. In 2009 she became national champion.
After she won the bronze medal one week after the nationals at the first international AmsterdaMMasters tournament in Sporthallen Zuid, she ended her career.
Pobokova gave an excellent performance in 2010 in the SBS6 talent show, Move Like Michael Jackson.[5][6]
