Anne Elizabeth Moore
Anne Elizabeth Moore is an editor, artist, and is well known for her books Unmarketable: Brandalism, Copyfighting, Mocketing and the Erosion of Integrity,[1][2] and Hey Kidz, Buy This Book: A Radical Primer on Corporate and Governmental Propaganda and Artistic Activism for Short People.[3] She has also been highlighted for her work in zines and comics.
Moore's writing has been featured in a variety of publications,[4][5] and Columbia College’s Center for Book & Paper Arts presented a retrospective exhibition of Moore's zine art in 2009.[6]
Moore was the editor of the first compilation of Houghton Mifflin's Best American Comics series in 2006,[7] as well as copublisher and editor of Punk Planet.[8][9]
Moore was educated at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago,[10] and currently teaches Visual and Critical Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.[11]
