Anschutz Family Foundation
The Anschutz Family Foundation is a private foundation anchored in Denver, Colorado. It was founded in 1982 by Fred and Marian Pfister Anschutz,[1] the parents of Colorado entrepreneur Phillip Anschutz. Since its founding in 1982, it has distributed 8,671 grants to nonprofit organizations for a total of $50,183,941.[2] It has also given grants to several public policy think tanks – which account for roughly 1.5%–2.0% of the foundation's grants.[3][4][5]
