Anthony Chan (economist)

Anthony Chan (born c. 1957) is a well known economist interviewed mainly by CNBC's Squawk Box, Bloomberg Television and Radio on employment figures and interest rates. Currently he is chief economist for JPMorgan Chase in New York City.[1] Until then, he had been at Bank One.[2]

Chan, a Chinese American, earned his bachelor's degree from Baruch College in 1979, and his master's (1983) and doctorate (1986) from the University of Maryland.[3]
