The Roman Catholic Diocese of Transfiguration at Novosibirsk (Latin: Neosiberian(a) Transfigurationis) is a suffragan Latin diocese in the Ecclesiastical province of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Mother of God at Moscow.
Its cathedral episcopal see is the Cathedral of the Transfiguration in the city of Novosibirsk in Asian Siberia, Russia.
History
- Established on December 1, 1921 as Apostolic Vicariate of Siberia, on territory split off from the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Mohilev
- Demoted on April 13, 1991 as Apostolic Administration of Siberia
- Renamed on May 18, 1999 as Apostolic Administration of Western Siberia, having lost territory to establish the then Apostolic Administration of Eastern Siberia (now Diocese of Saint Joseph at Irkutsk)
- Promoted on February 11, 2002 as Diocese of Transfiguration at Novosibirsk
