Apptimize is a mobile application optimization company that offers A/B testing, feature toggling, phased rollout, and analytics.

History

Apptimize was founded by Nancy Hua and Jeremy Orlow in 2013. The company launched its code-based A/B testing solution in July 2013[1] and graduated from Y Combinator in August 2013. [2] [3]

In January 2014, Apptimize announced a seed funding round of $2.1M led by Merus Capital, Google Ventures, Oliver Jung, and Tom Moss.[4] [5] [6]

Products

Apptimize allows app developers to deploy multiple versions of a mobile app while maintaining a single app listing in the App Store or Google Play.[7] The developer can programmatically control which version of the app each user sees and enable new features or user flows.

The company also provides a what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor called Visual Apptimizer.[4] [8]
