Archibald "Archie" Boyd was a Scottish professional football goalkeeper who played in the Scottish League for Heart of Midlothian.[2][3]

Personal life

Boyd worked as a shale miner.[1] His brother James was also a footballer for Heart of Midlothian and was killed on the Somme while serving with McCrae's Battalion during the First World War.[2][4]
