"Arienne" is the fourth single to be released by the British singer-songwriter Tasmin Archer. Released in August 1993, it became Archer's fourth UK Top 30 hit in a year (peaking at no.30).
Song
- Archer states the lyrics of "Arienne" are about "finding your way in the world and having to cope with growing up in a world that's not so friendly."
- Five instruments were used in the recording of Arienne, John Hughes, Elliott Randall and Robbie McIntosh provided the guitars in the song whereas John Beck and Paul Wickens played keyboards. The drummer on the track was Charlie Morgan whilst Peter Kaye played fairlight. Paul Wickens also played accordion on the track.
