The Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) is a government agency of the State of Arizona. The current interim director is Henry Darwin after Arizona Governor Doug Ducey fired former director Timothy S. Jeffries.[1]
The mission of DES is to make Arizona stronger by helping Arizonans reach their potential through temporary assistance for those in need, and care for the vulnerable.
