Arola is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) northeast of Turin and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Verbania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 284 and an area of 6.5 square kilometres (2.5 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Arola contains the frazione (subdivision) Pianezza.
Arola borders the following municipalities: Cesara, Civiasco, Madonna del Sasso.
