Arthur Ernest Barrington Birkett (25 October 1875 in Exeter, Devon – 1 April 1941 in Hammersmith, London) was a member of the gold medal winning Great Britain cricket team at the 1900 Summer Olympics.
Personal life
The son of a woollen merchant, he was educated at Blundell's School. Name is actually Arthur Ernest Burrington Birkett
Olympic career
Birkett opened the first innings batting for Great Britain in the only match against France and was dismissed for just one run. He did not bat in the second innings. Nothing is known of his cricket career outside of the Olympics.
