Artsakh League

Artsakh football league (or Nagorno-Karabakh football league) is an annual competition, held under the auspices of the Football Federation of the NKR State Committee of Sports and Nagorno Karabakh with a view to identifying the strongest teams in the country.

Description

The competition involved teams from all regions of the NKR and games are held in two rounds. Matches of the local judiciary. Since the Football Federation of NKR is not a member of FIFA and any of the confederations in international tournaments organized by FIFA and its confederations, clubs NKR does not participate. In the first championship of the NKR in 2009, teams played mostly young players, so some sources Championship presented as a junior championship, but in fact there was no age limit.
