Askari Housing Society (Urdu: ur) is a residential community located in the south-eastern part of Lahore, Pakistan. The community, much like Defence Housing Authority, Lahore, was primarily meant for retired personnel of Pakistan Army. Initially only 1 sector was announced. As of June 2013, almost 11 more sectors have been announced where the first 10 sectors are fully developed while the work is underway in the 11th sector.
It was one of the first gated communities of Lahore which introduced the concept of one entry and exit points. Because of advanced security measures, all sectors of Askari offer complete security with little or no crimes. According to a recently published report of Zameen.com, a real estate portal of Pakistan, Askari is one of the most secure housing societies in Lahore, Pakistan.[1]
Community Features
Askari I, which was one of the initial sectors of the community, did not offer many amenities. The later sectors however offer much better living standard. Some of the common features of all Askari sectors include:

- Jogging tracks
- Shopping centres
- General stores
- Mosques
Askari I
Askari I is a very small sector but densely populated nonetheless and primarily consists of apartments.
Askari II
Askari II is located adjacent to the CMA Colony Lahore. To its north lies Iqbal Colony, in the south there is Customs Colony.
Askari III
Askari III was the first semi-detached housing sector of the Askari Scheme. It consists of double story houses offering better living standards than the first two sectors. Almost all the houses in this sector consist of 12 marla.
Politics of Askari
Almost all Askari sectors are included in Provincial Assembly Constituency PP-155, Constituency PP-156 and National Assembly Constituency NA-125. The sitting Member of NA-125 is Khawaja Saad Rafique (PML-N).
