Atalar (former Deliminnet) is a town in Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. It is situated in Çukurova plains at about 36°51′N 34°51′E / 36.850°N 34.850°E. It is 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) west of Yeşiltepe (another town). Distance to Tarsus is 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) and to Mersin is 24 kilometres (15 mi). The population is 1747 as of 2012.[1]
