ACL Services Ltd. is a company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada that provides data analytics, governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) software, and consulting services in risk and audit management.[1][2][3] Their flagship analytics products have been referred to as one of "the most widely used" data extraction tools.[4] In September 2012, the company named Laurie Schultz its new Chief Executive Officer.[5]

Products

ACL data analytics is a data extraction and analysis software used for fraud detection & prevention, and risk management. By sampling large data sets, ACL data analysis software is used to find irregularities or patterns in transactions that could indicate control weaknesses or fraud.

ACL GRC is a cloud-based audit workflow, risk management, and compliance management software solution.

In 2011, ACL expanded into the electronic work papers market with the acquisition of Workpapers.com.[6] The acquisition signaled the shift by the company towards the SaaS model.[7]

In May 2013, ACL launched ACL GRC, a cloud-based risk assessment, project and results management solution that replaced ACL Workpapers.[8] The product is available in French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German, and the software is hosted from data centers across North America, the European Union, or Asia.

In September 2014, ACL released new versions of its flagship analytics software, ACL Analytics 11, and continuous monitoring solution, ACL Analytics Exchange 5. The new features of these solutions allow audit, risk management and compliance professionals to place their work in an executive context for senior management.[9]
