Ayaştürkmenli is a small village in Silifke district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At 36°45′N 33°53′E / 36.750°N 33.883°E it is situated in the Taurus Mountains to the west of Limonlu Creek, (Lamos Creek of the antiquity). The distance to Silifke is 50 kilometres (31 mi). The population of Ayaştürkmenli was 36[1] as of 2011. It is a very small settlement. But it still keeps its legal entity as a village.
