Basketball at the 2014 ASEAN School Games
Basketball contests at the 2014 ASEAN School Games was held from 1 December to 5 December 2014.[1] The games were held at the Marist School Gymnasium.[2][3]
Competition format
There will be two events in Basketball, one for Boys and one for Girls. Each participating nation at the ASEAN School Games can only send 1 team each for the Boys and Girls tournaments where each team composes of 12 players. The tournaments will be in a round robin format consisting of only one round.[4]
The Following classification format is to be used.[5]

*The team has less than two players available to play on the court.
**A team cannot present five players at the start of the game, or its actions prevent play from being resumed.
In case teams are tied on points, the tiebreaking criteria are, in order of first application:
- Results of the games involving the tied teams (head-to-head records)
- Goal average of the games involving the tied teams
- Goal average of all of the games played
- Points scored
- Drawing of lots

Group Standings as of December 3, 2014, Results for matches beyond December 3 is unknown, except the match between the delegates of the Philippines and Thailand. The Philippines won gold medal for the Boys' event.
