Bayazid Khan Karrani
Bayazid Karrani (Bengali: বায়েজীদ খ়ান কররানী, reigned 1572) was the third ruler of the Karrani dynasty of Bengal. He ascended the throne after his father Sulaiman Khan Karrani died in October 1572. After assuming power he broke allegiance with the Mughals and declared independence.[1]
Short-lived ruling
He ruled for few month before he was betrayed and killed by his cousin and brother-in-law, Hansu. Hansu was later dethroned by Sulaiman Khan's trusted nobles. Bayazid's younger brother, Daud Khan Karrani eventually took the power.[1]
