Belgium participated at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Riga, Latvia. This was the first Walloon participation since the 2000 contest.
Belgium internally selected Urban Trad to represent them, singing in an imaginary language for the first time in the contest's history.
At Eurovision
Urban Trad received 165 points, placing second and giving Belgium their best result since their win in 1986.
