Bethany Barton is an American author and illustrator of children's books.[1] She also works in the art and set decoration departments for film & TV. Notable projects include ABC Network’s The Muppets and The Middle. [2] She is represented by Writers House.
As of 2015 Barton has written three books.[3][4] As well as illustrating her own stories, she has illustrated for other authors. Her most recent book, I'm Trying to Love Spiders, has received a number of positive reviews.[5][6] It was winner of the 2016 Children's Choice Book Award for 3-4th Grade Book of The Year.
