FlipGive is a fundraising platform where people raise money by shopping online. Fundraisers earn up 50% for their team, school or cause when they and their friends shop online with popular retailers.The platform is used by leading associations, clubs, technology and media companies, who bring the unique "shop to give" model to their members and sponsors. The network partners allow FlipGive to deliver millions of shoppers to retailers.
Origins
The company was founded in 2008 while 3 of the partners attended the Executive MBA program at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.[1] The website was launched February 2, 2009.[1]
FlipGive is a B corporation.[2]
