William "Billy" Gallier (24 April 1932 – 6 February 2011)[1] was an English footballer and manager, who played for Walsall, Tamworth and Hednesford Town during his career, before going on to manage Armitage.

Bill leaves behind Wife Sheila, Son Paul,Daughter-in-law Kim and Grandchildren James and Hannah. Bill and Sheila had been married for 53 years, they lived in the same house in Chase Terrace throughout their marriage. He began work on his 14th birthday where he worked down the mines,this is where he stayed until he retired in the 1980s. His passion for sport was always there, playing/managing for numerous football clubs including West Bromwich Albion,where today he would be classed as a utility player. In his spare time he also played and umpired for many cricket clubs in the local area.
