Blue Sky UAV

Blue Sky LT series UAVs are Chinese UAV developed by Beijing Blue Sky UAV Co., Ltd. (北京蓝天无人机) subsidiary of Beijing Blue Sky Rise Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (Blue Sky, 北京蓝天飞扬科技有限公司). Originally an aerial survey company, Blue Sky has been deploying various UAVs developed by other manufacturers. Based on the experience, Blue Sky has begun to develop its own UAVs by integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) airframes with indigenously developed flight control systems for most UAVs of its own brand.

260 UAV

260 UAV is an unmanned helicopter developed by Blue Sky by integrating COTS airframe with flight control system indigenously developed by Blue Sky. 260 UAV is in conventional helicopter layout with a pair of skids as landing gear. The complete name of this UAV is 260 Gasoline-Powered UAV Aerial Survey Helicopter (260 Qi-You Wu-Ren-Ji Hang-Pai Zhi-Sheng-Ji, 260汽油无人机航拍直升机). The designation 260 comes from the COTS airframe GSR 260 adopted for this UAV. Specification:[1]

260E UAV

260E UAV is an unmanned helicopter developed by Blue Sky by integrating COTS airframe with flight control system indigenously developed by Blue Sky. 260 UAV is in conventional helicopter layout with a pair of skids as landing gear. The complete name of this UAV is 260 Electrically Powered Remotely Piloted Aerial Survey Helicopter (Dian-Dong 260 Qi-You Yao-Kong Hang-Pai Zhi-Sheng-Fei-Ji, 电动260遥控航拍直升飞机). As with its gasoline-powered cousin 260UAV, the designation 260 of 260E comes from the COTS airframe GSR 260 adopted for this UAV. Specification:[2]

70 kg class UAV

70 kg class UAV is an unmanned helicopter developed by Blue Sky by integrating COTS airframe with flight control system indigenously developed by Blue Sky. 70 kg class UAV adopts liquid-cooled engine instead of air-cooled engine adopted in most Chinese UAVs, and it is in conventional helicopter layout with a pair of skids as landing gear system.[3]

100 kg class UAV

100 kg class UAV is an unmanned helicopter developed by Blue Sky by integrating COTS airframe with flight control system indigenously developed by Blue Sky. 100 kg class UAV is developed from one-person ultralight / home build helicopter by converting the manned version into an unmanned version. Specification:[4]

Joker 3

Joker 3 UAV is an unmanned helicopter developed by Blue Sky by integrating COTS airframe with flight control system indigenously developed by Blue Sky. Joker 3 is in conventional helicopter layout with a pair of skids as landing gear system. The designation Joker 3 comes from the COTS airframe German Joker 3, with the original German name Joker 3 directly adopted. The flight control system is the same as that of 260E UAV described above. Specification:[5]

LT Modular UAV

LT Modular UAV is an unmanned helicopter developed by Blue Sky utilizing modular design concept to easy the maintenability and increase adaptability. Modular design enables the module containing faulty part to be removed rapidly in the field and replaced. Modular design also enables different engines to be adopted and currently two are available: a 110 cc 8.6 kW or 170 cc 13 kW twin cylinder two-stroke engines. LT Modular UAV is constructed of carbon fiber. Specification:[6]

LT-520

UAV is an unmanned helicopter developed by Blue Sky by integrating COTS airframe with flight control system indigenously developed by Blue Sky. LT-520 is in conventional helicopter layout with a pair of skids as landing gear system. LT-520 is powered by twin cylinder gasoline engine. LT-520 is stripped of skin to reduce weight in order to increase payload.[3]

LTF-10

LTF-10 is an unmanned helicopter developed by Blue Sky and is gasoline-powered. Specification:[7]

LTF-6

LTF-6 is the electrically powered version LTF-10, and the size and performance of LTF-6 is similar to that of LTF-10.[8]

Blue Sky Type I

Blue Sky I UAV is an unmanned helicopter in conventional helicopter layout, and the landing gear system consists of a pair of skids. Type I UAV is primarily designed for aerial survey/surveillance missions. Specification:[9]

Blue Sky Type II

Blue Sky II UAV is a development of earlier Type I, and performance of both UAVs is very similar to each other. Type I UAV is an unmanned helicopter in conventional helicopter layout, and the landing gear system consists of a pair of skids. Type II UAV is a modified Type I UAV specially designed for industrial / engineering applications by redesigning the location of payloads. By relocating the location of payload under the nose in Type I to directly under the belly, payload of Type II UAV is on the same axis of the main rotor, so for Type I, the weight limitation of the payload can be altered anytime, thus making Type II UAV very adaptable for various missions of industrial and engineering applications. Type II UAV is powered by an 80 cc Komatsu gasoline engine.[10]

Blue Sky Type III

Blue Sky Type III UAV is the third member of the Blue Sky series unmanned helicopter, and as with Blue Sky I and II, Blue Sky III is also in conventional helicopter layout with a pair of skids as landing gear. Blue Sky Type III is specially designed for agricultural applications.[3][11][12]

Octocopter

Octocopter developed by Blue Sky is a multirotor that is constructed of carbon fiber. Octocopter integrats COTS airframe with flight control system indigenously developed by Blue Sky.[13] Specification:[14]

Reconnaissance UAV

Reconnaissance UAV is a derivative of LT Modular UAV specially modified for military and law enforcement applications. Data link is added so that image can be transmitted in real time, instead of as in aerial survey missions where data and images are reviewed after the UAV landed.[3]
