The Bozzuto Group is a building company that specializes in residential buildings. They build apartments, houses, and student residences for universities, such as the University of Baltimore. It was founded in 1988 by Thomas S. Bozzuto and three partners, but is currently managed by his son Toby Bozzuto, who took over in 2013. Its headquarters are in Greenbelt, Maryland. It was subsidized by Prince George's County, Maryland in 2013.[1]

Toby Bozzuto succeeded his father, Thomas S. Bozzuto, in running the company in 2013.[2] In 2014 he received the developer of the year award from the Maryland Building Industry Association. [3]

According to the Washington Post, the company has developed more than 50,000 homes and apartments since its inception. [1] Projects in which it has been involved include the Addison Apartments in Capitol Heights[1] and the Locust Point redevelopment in Baltimore.[4] The Fitzgerald, a mixed-use building in Mount Vernon, Baltimore, received an award in the Urban Land Institute’s Awards for Excellence: The Americas competition.[5]
