Brad Turner is a Canadian jazz trumpeter and pianist who has won two Juno Awards and six Canadian National Jazz Awards for categories including Jazz Trumpeter of the Year, Jazz Composer of the Year, and Musician of the Year.[1] He has performed and recorded with such artists as Joe Lovano, Kenny Wheeler, John Scofield, Michael Moore, Renee Rosnes, Jimmy Greene, Ingrid Jensen, Dylan van der Schyff, Mike Murley, Seamus Blake, Kenny Werner, and Ernie Watts.[2] Turner lives in Vancouver, and currently teaches at Capilano University. He is the director of Capilano University's A band ensemble.[3]
