Brett Holmberg (born March 26, 1986) is a professional ice hockey right wing forward, who currently plays for the Bloomington PrairieThunder .

Career

A native of Sherwood Park, Alberta he put on his first pair of skates at the age of three years[1] and began playing for the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the Alberta Junior Hockey League in 2003. He began his professional career in 2007 with the Bloomington PrairieThunder. On April 5, 2008 Brett Holmberg was the fourth Bloomington PrairieThunder player to score in thirty-five seconds, setting a record in all of pro hockey.[2] On December 22, 2010 Holmberg had his first hat trick of his career.[3] The first goal was scored at 8:23 of the first period, the second at 8:32 of the second period, and the third was a short handed goal at 6:40, also in the second period.
