Brian McKim
Brian McKim is a professional standup comedian and the editor and publisher of the standup comedy website, SHECKYmagazine.com.[1][2] On October 11, 2013, he appeared on the late-night CBS television series The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. [3] The appearance was taped on October 10 and featured an appearance by actress Rashida Jones. He was a semifinalist on Season 7 of the NBC series Last Comic Standing. He has appeared on such network, syndicated and cable television shows as Star Search, Evening At The Improv and Comic Strip Live as well as on the nationally syndicated radio show, The Bob & Tom Show. His comedy is marked by one-liners, wordplay and a deadpan delivery.
In addition to performing as a standup comic, he is also a comedy writer. He has contributed to Fox Television's Comic Strip Live and was, along with his wife, professional comedian and writer Traci Skene, the creative team for The John Debella Show, when Debella simultaneously ended his brief retirement from radio and his feud with Howard Stern in 1994. They co-authored a book, "The Comedy Bible: The Complete Resource for Aspiring Comedians," (release date: October 1, 2011) co-published by Barron's Educational Series (Happauge, New York) and Quartet Publishing Ltd., a division of Quarto Group (London), and distributed throughout the United States by Barnes & Noble.
In 1981, he received a bachelor of science degree in journalism from Temple University.
He has performed in all 50 states and three Canadian provinces.
