Apostle Bryan Andrew Wilson (born November 3, 1981) is an American gospel musician and pastor of Remnant Covering Church. He started his music career, in 1996, with the release of, Bryan's Songs, by Malaco Records. His second album, Growing Up, was released by Malaco Records in 1999. The third album was a self-released album by Bryan's Songs Records, Limited Edition, and his fourth album was released by Central South Records, A Second Coming.... His fifth album, The One Percent, was released in 2014 by his own label Bryan's Songs Records. The album was his breakthrough released upon the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart. The song, "Turning Away", was released as a single promoting the album, and it charted on the Billboard Hot Gospel Singles chart.

Early life

Apostle Wilson was born Bryan Andrew Wilson in Danville, Illinois on November 3, 1981 to his mother Sheila.[1] He graduated from Claflin University during their May 2004 commencement ceremony with a Bachelors Degree in Religion and Philosophy, while in school, he stayed with his surrogate father, Shane Wall.[1][2] Subsequently, he went onto Princeton Theological Seminary, where he studied for a year.[1][2]

Music career

His music career started when he was just 15 years old, with the release of Bryan's Songs by Malaco Records on March 26, 1996.[3] His next album with Malaco Records, Growing Up, was released on September 14, 1999.[3] The next two albums were, Limited Edition and A Second Coming..., the latter was released by Central South Records.[3] His fifth album, The One Percent, was released in 2014,[3] and it was his breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums at No. 19.[4] While a single promoting the album, "Turning Away", charted at No. 21 on the Hot Gospel Singles chart.[4]

Personal life

Apostle Wilson is the pastor of Remnant Covering Church in Washington, D.C. In March 2016, he was reportly Engaged to Gospel Newcomer Briana Babineaux and are getting married in August[2]
