Buddy aid
Buddy Aid is first aid training given to Soldiers and Marines in Basic Training to help heal a fallen comrade.
Equipment
{Note this is based on World War II Buddy Aid}
One Assault First Aid Packet or M-1942 First Aid Pouch held a Carlisle Bandage Tin.
This tin included one packet of sulfa powder, one Bandage, and one Tourniquet.
Procedure
If a soldier is wounded, the soldier giving aid comes over. He gets the wounded man's First Aid pouch. He opens the Carlisle Tin and finds wound. He then will pour the sulfa in the wound (sprinkle it). He will then apply Tourniquet, apply Bandage and wait for a Combat Medic
