Burnaby Central Secondary School is a public high school in Burnaby, British Columbia. It is located across from Burnaby City hall and is adjacent Deer Lake Park. Burnaby Central is a part of Burnaby School District 41. Currently, there are more than 1,400 students attending the school. It has five computer labs, two gymnasiums, two outdoor fields, and a track. Burnaby Central is also known for having a strong rugby team, its award-winning music program, as well as their wrestling program as well as a track and field and football teams which are both making comebacks. Winning boys and girls soccer teams, championship girls volleyball team, and district champion cross country team add to the athletic successes at Central. In 2009, the wrestling team competed in the provincial championships and came out as the BOYS BC champions, this is Central's first comeback banner win in the wrestling division.

Central's ACE-IT program is a unique program that offers students from across the district to learn culinary skills from Chef Wade and his staff. These students learn a variety of skills including catering a number of dinners, conferences, and events.

Due to the Seismic Mitigation Program in British Columbia, construction began on a new, seismically sound school building in 2009. This new school building was constructed where the previous school’s outdoor field was located. Burnaby Central Secondary School’s new campus opened in September 2011, and is the most advanced and eco friendly school in Burnaby.
