History
BusinesSuites was founded in 1989 in Austin, Texas, by Luci Baines Johnson, daughter of late president Lyndon B. Johnson and Lady Bird Johnson, and her husband Ian J. Turpin. The Company began growing aggressively in 2002, when it acquired and opened several locations in Maryland and Nevada, including several acquired from The Rouse Company. Since 2002, the Company has continued growing in these markets as well as its home state of Texas and added locations in Virginia in 2007 and 2008. Over the past several years the company has grown considerably, but its focus on clients remains the same. The most recent expansion includes adding two new locations in Nevada and a third location in Columbia, Maryland in 2010.
Achievements
BusinesSuites was recognized in 2009 by Dell and National Federation of Independent Businesses for its 6th Annual Small Business Excellence Award, "differentiating itself among a record-breaking 3,000 applicants," according to the Dell Press Release.
In 2010, BusinesSuites was listed among the Inc. 5000’s Fastest-Growing Companies in the U.S.
