Genera
Caesalpinieae once included many more genera, but modern molecular phylogenetics indicated that these should be transferred to other clades.[1][2][3] Caesalpinieae currently comprises the following genera:
- Balsamocarpon
- Caesalpinia
- Cenostigma
- Cordeauxia
- Coulteria
- Erythrostemon
- Guilandina
- Haematoxylum
- Hoffmannseggia
- Libidibia
- Lophocarpinia
- Mezoneuron
- Moullava
- Poincianella
- Pomaria
- Pterogyne
- Pterolobium
- Stahlia
- Stenodrepanum
- Stuhlmannia
- Tara
- Zuccagnia
