Cal McCombs (born August 4, 1945) is a former American football player and coach. He was the 29th head football coach for the Virginia Military Institute Keydets located in Lexington, Virginia and he held that position for seven seasons, from 1999 until 2005. His career coaching record at VMI was 19 wins, 60 losses, and 0 ties. This ranks him sixth at VMI in total wins and 25th at VMI in winning percentage.[1]
