Calzavara S.p.A. is an industrial group in the antenna concealment solution sector in Italy. Calzavara operates in the sectors of telecommunications, broadcasting, engineering, renewable energy and security.
History
Founded officially in 1966 as a sole proprietorship of the current president Lucio Calzavara in 1979 became joint-stock company with the incorporation of the company Master Spa (subsidiary of Fiat Group).
From design and installation of the first passive repeaters, initially in Italy for SIP and subsequently around the world, from the 90s the company has filed several patents for solutions to reduce the visual impact of radio-base stations, such as "camouflage systems for structures[1]"," procedure for the production of artificial needle-shaped foliage[2]","artificial tree to camouflage antennas[3]".
Today Calzavara is a system integrator with services and products for networks relative to fixed, wireless, cellular and broadcasting, TV, radio, surveillance radar and the broadband market in general. Moreover, it operates in other fields through joint-ventures, companies and brands.
