Cambridge Commonwealth Trust
The Cambridge Commonwealth Trust is an organization that offers scholarships to students from overseas and the Commonwealth (excluding the United Kingdom) who have been accepted for admission to the University of Cambridge in England.[1]
The Trust is based at 53–54 Sidney Street in central Cambridge.[2]
The Cambridge Commonwealth, European and International Trust was established on 1 August 2013. The Trust, which is an Exempt Charity, was formed from the merger of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust and the Cambridge Overseas Trust. These were both established as charities by the University of Cambridge in the 1980s in order to provide financial support for international students on degree courses at Cambridge.
The Trust's Patron is His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, and it is governed by a board of Trustees.
