Chanugondla
Chanugondla village (చనుగొ౦డ్ల గ్రామ౦) is 12 km far away from Owk Mandal,100 km from Kurnool and 325 km from the state capital, Hyderabad, India.
The village population was about 1000 in 2011. Chanugondla village is surrounded by Sunkesula, Akumalla, Singanapalle, S angapatnam, Ramapuram, Perusomula and Singavaram. The village is developing now, and profession of this village people is 90% = Farming & 10% Stones business. So many people from this people migrated to the nearby village Ramapuram and settled there by starting a business (factory).

This village people are survived by Mandal Parishat Prathamica Patashala (M.P.P School) which is established in 1940's, Which converted so many illiterate people into literate people.

For studying Intermediate and Higher studies, they have to go to other towns or cities & study . And there is no other option for studying higher studies near to home.
