Church of St. James Intercisus
For a cathedral dedicated to St. James the Just in Jerusalem, see Cathedral of St. James, Jerusalem.
The former 12th-century Crusader Church of St. James Intercisus has been transformed into a mosque after the fall of Crusader Jerusalem. It is known as Al-Yaqubi Mosque and is situated at the northern edge of what is now the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem. The Crusader church was dedicated to James Intercisus, a Persian martyr and saint.
